CORONATUS Announces New Singer
July 1, 2010German sympho-gothic metallers CORONATUS have announced the addition of singer Natalia Kempin to the group's ranks. Natalia will handle the classical soprano vocals which were previously performed by Karmen R. Lorch.
Karmen left CORONATUS this past spring for "private reasons."
Natalia previously played with the Russian metal band ARCANE GRAIL and did session work for STIGMATIC CHORUS, SHADOW HOST and a few others. She is normally known as a lyric-dramatic soprano but with one interesting exception — in addition to singing in the classical style, she also growls.
CORONATUS is currently working on material for its fourth full-length album for a 2011 release.
The band's last CD, "Fabula Magna", came out in 2009.
